Freo are a quality team who certainly took it up to Sydney after their slow start and some of their goals were magnificent. I thought they played better against us than St Kilda did last year. Sydney's ball movement was exquisite at times - yes there were some mistakes but often when they were taking risks - and to kick 19 goals against a quality opponent indicates a strong performance.
You're always a voice of common sense and reason Liz. I'm beginning to think that a small minority here are so use to dissappointment that they have difficulty coming to terms with the team's current success. I can find no other reason to explain the bagging by a small number of posters after last nights game, especially after having watched it replayed twice on Fox Footy.

      Hey all,

Just wanted to say congrats on the win last night. the Swans played a brand of footy that was disciplined, team oriented, and far too good for us to combat.

      Good luck next week.

Thanks Mattus. Some Freo supporters are really good sports.

Most of our best players were outstanding last night. If we play as well next week we will be hard to beat. But I was worried by a couple of things - the number of soft goals we conceded, and the poor performances by our bottom two players: Mathews and Dempster.
