some high speed collisions are in order with some hurt inflicted on both sides. Very happy we came away from our prelim with no injuries and a relatively cruisy final qtr. The week off now really means we'll be in better shape to contain the run of the E-girls should we happen to meet them again.Comment

I hope they really smash each other.Occupational hazards:

I reckon we are just about due to beat the Crows, and I could not stand losing to West Coast, either way it is going to be damn tough oppositionComment

I hope that one team runs away with the game. The I will support injuries for the team winning
In the end to me it's a bit of 50/50
Crows are depleted, and if they win they'll probably play a half wasted Roo, which is possibly gong into the game with 21 and a quarter players.
West Coast will have to play right through the finals, and history tells us that whilst the Swannies pulled it off last year, it is hard to do.
History also tells us that when facing the Eagles in a GF, our winning ratio is 100:0

I don't know. Both clubs are pretty tough and both have advantages and disadvantages to playing them in the GF. We haven't played Adelaide at the MCG but then again, we haven't beaten them for a long time. And the Eagles, they might want revenge for the QF.
I might go for Adelaide...Last edited by Carolyn; 23 September 2006, 10:35 AM.My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"

Crows for me.
The fact that they've had the wood on us needs to be addressed.
I've had enough of the E-Girls. They remind me a bit of that Kevin Bloody Wilson song "The cat came back" where he so eloquently declares "I kicked it's a*se to kingdom come, but the cat came back!""My theory is that the universe is made out of stupidity because it's more plentiful than hydrogen" - Frank ZappaComment

They are both quality sides so we should just hope its a tough game with a few injuries / reports on either side.
Personally I will be supporting the Crows as I hate the Wegurls with a passion."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

I hope for a Crows win. I`ve got a $100 bucks and a carton of beers on the E-Girls not making the GF. Having said that, if the Crowbots knock over Wet Toast then we are in for a real tussle come GF day.Even Santa follows the Swannies.Comment

This will probably come back to bite me on the bum but I hope the Crows win. Firstly, it'll shut up the BigFooty trolls who say that the Swans aren't champions until they beat their champion team. And I could live with the Crows as Premiers if we lose.
But I'd love the Eagles to not make the Grand Final - and know it all came down to one point at Subi. And if we lost to the Eagles in the GF I'd feel that the Swans had gifted Ratboy Hunter a Premiership medallion.Comment

I think we have to go for Adelaide. Personally, for rivalry sake, a game against WC would be good for that purpose.
However, there was this toss sitting a few rows behind us. Him and his kids all had West Coast guernseys on! And they were cheering against Sydney...
Had he not been with the kiddies he would have copped a massive spray, i gave him a little one, but his kids didnt deserve to hear anything more!
