Hansen is a big assignment, but I hope the Eagles underestimate Lewie's ability to hurt them going back the other way. He has set Tadhg on many a merry run with a clever offensive handball and doesn't mind putting his body on the line, much more assured and confident the last couple of years.
I hear not what you say, for the thunder of who you are.

Graystar - I'm sure you noted that Robert Walls obviously read all the posts in the "Worst Norm Smith Medallist Eva" thread last year. In the QF he kept on and on about Judds ineffective disposal versus possession tally.

Of course, he stopped carrying on about that when Judd turned on the afterburners in the final quarter.

I noticed that. It seemed that when Judd was forced wide his disposal wasn't as good as when he was able to run up the middle.

Judd's disposal can often be suspect. However, he gets it so much and when it isn't bad, it's usually great. So he usually hurts you over the period of a game. He also carries the burden of expectation.

LRT played very well in the GF last year, but no way in the world was he BOG.

It's a tough ask against Pavlich. I suspect that there is no panic in the Swans' ranks about this. Probably just sensibly bringing in SOS to go over a few things with LRT and maintain his confidence.

LRT will be very important at CHB. The ball will come into the F50 a lot and so we need LRT to blunt their attacks.

I wouldn't mind having such an unworthy Norm Smith medallist playing for the Swans

The fact that Silvagni is going to Sydney to "fine tune" LRT's game is totally beneficial for the young backman. I actually wished for that last week as I watched our game against Freo. I told some friends that I hoped for some more guidance from Silvagni but doubted that it would come to fruition because of his Bulldogs ties.

LRT apparently also wore the wrong boots (as Roosy said) that apparently hindered his performance.

He did look out of sorts though and I think Silvagni, as last year, will reinforce the positions that LRT has to get into in a contest. This will only help LRT and ultimately our chances of holding one of their large targets at bay.

I know that the Big Pav got the better of him in the first half, but he actually did some great stuff in the second half - knocking the ball to advantage, second efforts etc.

Just hope he keeps his confidence up.
                  oh well, maybe next time......

He was easily BOG at half time. By 2nd half he wasnt as influential. I suspect Worsfold turned Hansen into a bit of a decoy to get LRT out of the play.

I lot of Pavlich's marks were two-touches, so LRT was at least getting the 1st spoil on. But Barry showed that Pavlich can be stopped.

Like Liz said, SOS's chat is all about going back to basics. WC dont have a Pavlich.

No I sent in a note to the moderators. Perhaps too much colourful language. I was sick of seeing 5 NRL threads on an AFL forum. The moderators are pathetic over there.
