There are similarities in how the Weagles made it to this year's GF and we did last year. The similarities will end with Roos once again holding the premiership cup aloft and the rest of us going mental in a red and white frenzy.

Yeah, although Woosha denied that he would change his game plan under any circumstances, the Eagles flooded the Adelaide backline in the Prelim.

If they are under pressure, he'll do it again. I hope it happens.

On the topic of the tipsters, I'm glad we're again underdogs. I think we've been underdogs all last year, and most of this year.

            It's worked so far.

Jim Main and Neil Cordy are all the way with the swans. Remember we were always underdogs. 1996 underdogs, 2005 underdogs and we won. A good omen? I certainly think so
2005, year of the swan, Demetriou was wrong so we sing this song...

"Cheer, cheer the red and the white,
Honour the name by day and by night....."

The commentators (and many others) will be blind to the simple comparison between the two teams, due to their view that it's pretty hard to win back-to-back premierships.

                Don't worry about it.

                We'll smash 'em!

One more reason why the odds against Swans is strange.

Eagles have final worries that we dont have.
They want to play injured Kerr & Warrapunda obviously due to their better talent than those they replace.

If they play the injured Kerr & Warrapnda, it is highly possible that they both break down in the 1st/2nd quarters due to frentic Swan plays or they play to half their capability only. We win.

If one or both are replaced with other less talented palyers, we win too.

I think if these two players not performing to their effectiveness, it goes goes a long way to get the Swan up.

                They have a problem.

Our 1 GAME FRESHNESS will go a long way in the 4th quarter. We just need to go hard at it and play smart from the first bounce.

                .....

It has been a pleasure to read & participate in the RWO 2006.

I hope our discussion here helps that little bit in the Swan camp to give them confidence boost & light relief before the storm (if they do read here )

Climb the second of the TWIN Peaks! Come on Swans!
                You are almost there!

Yep - I agree. I like it when we need to prove to everyone else.
