    FUZ NO! How would it be a nightmare? Those that get preference tickets would apply for them as normal, using their membership card if they have to. Clubs then give any remaining tickets to the AFL who sells them to the general public. Granted that flights would be chockfull and hotels booked out, but the travel industry deals with these influxes all the time. All said and done, its only 100,000 give or take a few that are rocking up, and a lot of those would be vics anyway.

      I can't believe that's still the rule - it may have been OK in the days of a locally-based competition, but with interstate travel involved it's ridiculous.       I agree with extra time both ways but not a penalty shootout. That'd suck
