    Watching the replay

Would do a poll if I could be bothered or knew how.

I feel fairly strongly that I will not be able to watch it ever. I couldn't bear to even look at papers today. The thought of either made me feel physically ill.

Getting onto the Jetstar flight I was one of the last and there were only a few seats left. One was next to a woman with an Eagles scarf on. No way!!!!!!!

Ive watched it again. I had to watch the last quarter just to see what actually happened. At the time I was just goal focused.

We were dreadful in the first half. So many fumbles. I dont know why. To think, one or two clean pickups would have won us the game.

It just feels like a game WE LOST, rather than THEY WON. They certainly took their chances though.

I texted my WC mates at half time, "we are not only giving you the game, we have gift wrapped it and home delivered it to you"

No way I can watch it again, never watched a loosing game on replay, and won't start now.

Only ever watched 1996 replay up until Kelly's kick fell short of Plugger and North took it away for a 12 pt turn around. The first quarter and a half of that grand final was fantastic and I enjoy it until then....however....

2006 GF will never be watched by me. I will avoid it at all costs. I can't believe how sad I still am. The thought of seeing it makes me feel ill.

James Hird was quoted as saying that the Sydney players would find losing 2006 harder than they would have found losing 2005...knowing how good it feels adds a different spin, when I read it, I knew he obviously knew what he was on about but I didn't really agree, I thought, we have 2005, so losing one wont be bad...it was, it was freaken horrible.......Well there you go, Hirdy was right, knowing what you are missing out on is the killer (for me anyway).

                  Hi guys

I would recommend watching the game again, it was another fantastic match. and after rewatching the last 4 WC/SYD games over the last few weeks i can see why nuetral fans think they are so good to watch.

We really didn't play that badly as i was thinking we were when i was watching it live.

I am the same. I thought the GF was ours when Mooney kicked that goal early in the 2nd. Was young at the time, but when you look back at it, It is probably the biggest "what if" in that game. If Kelly had of hit plugger on the chest with his kick, who knows what could of happened. Ahh memories.

maybe you should check the label on that tape you were watching then...

a mate and i have agreed to give it a close viewing (through our hands over our faces) sometime soon. i hope you're right.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

you all need to watch the game again.

                        Fantastic contest.

To go down by 20 points + you get beaten....to lose by one point you get beaten by the bounce of the ball.....

like sands through the hour glass it stood up for mick last week, it evaded us this week. We still need to be proud of the boys (esp Kirk) and no reason to drop our colours....

hard to watch goodes in tears at the end, but what a contest.

Watch it again.....dare you not to get excited as we run them down....

the colonel (kirk) didnt deserve to be on the losing side, let alone hit the post......

I admire your enthusiasm. I'd find it too hard to watch. Great game for the neutral. Someone like me would find it too hard to sit through a gut-wrenching loss like that again.

I watched it on Saturday night with the aid of a bottle of red. I have never been able to watch the 96 GF past half time, so I wasn't sure how I would go.

The second half is amazing, exhilarating, exhausting and ultimately devastating...but I couldn't look away. Unbelievable!!
                              oh well, maybe next time......
