    Why get rid of a future ruck player in ericksen and a potentially good player in Josh Willoughby.

    I believe that Willoughby needs time and hopefully next year he can step up like Schmidt did for a few games this year

    Give Schmidt and Willoughby some time and see what happens but play them in the seniors if the Swans can

      I see him playing seniors more next year... rookie list would mean he cant! - There's no way they would put him back to a rookie!

      Crazy, crazy!

          Fosdike was the least dissappointed IMO after the loss, my gut says if a suitable deal can be made we have plenty of his type in Malceski and McVeigh to play outside midfielder.

          Could be a good swap in a three way deal with Hawthorn, maybe Ken McGregor TO Hawthorn, Everitt and 3rd round pick from Adelaide to Swans... (could work for all involved )
          Staying ahead of the game...

            Keep Philips on the rookie list. Promote him to the senior list permanently end of next season. Chances are there will be a LTI so he can be promoted short term anyway.

              Why trade for mediocre players in the year of the super draft? A first-round draft pick would be better.

                Thanks SimonH - never knew the difference between inside & outside veterans before.

                6-7 changes on the list sounds about right, of course some of the younger fringe players may ask to be traded to a club where they will get more game time.

                      My lists is:

                      1. Willow - retired;
                      2. Chambers - delisted;
                      3. Spriggs - delisted;
                      4. Matthew Davis - delisted
                      5. Simon Pilllips - delisted and back to rookie list
                      6. Josh Willoughby - delisted or traded.
                      7. Earl Shaw or Ericksen - delisted. One may go.

                      Other players may go depending on trades but as the other thread showed, the guessing is never ending.

                          I'm impressed Bas - only error was Phillips got promoted to the senior list, not delisted.
