Age isn't a factor in the rising star. Presumably they follow the some criteria as the AFL medal, that is that the player has played less then 5 games (or did they make it 10?) at the start of the season.

Age IS a factor in the AFL rising star award. You have to be under 21 at the start of the year.
However, I have a feeling that this is the one criterion that the Swans don't apply to their own award.
Baz was probably in the lead going into the GF but even if they thought he was that far ahead after the first two finals, it would be a complete embarrassment for Hall to give it to him with him being so dirty on himself for his game on Saturday.
That is a bit too trite for me as the vote has to be for the entire finals series and Hall was very consistent against both West Coast and Freo, So he played one bad game...2 out 3 aint all that bad.. Hall for me for the finals and Goodes is so far ahead of the rest for BF.
Kirk played three very good finals games though. And O'Loughlin was good in the first two and at least reasonable in the GF.
Speaking of O'Loughlin, I reckon he was a bit stiff not to finish somewhere in the top 10 in the B&F count. He's had one of his most consistent seasons for a few years, and I'd have had him ahead of both McVeigh and Ablett, and probably at least Kennelly too.

Possibly. His first half of the season was pretty ordinary, but his second half was consistently very good.
I'm a little surprised that Tadgh finished top 10. Pleased to see Leo in 6th - after a poor start he was very solid for the rest of the season. Great to see ROK recognised too.
Next year I'd like to see Tadgh top 5 and Davis top 10.

Agree with Young Blood.
First time in many seasons he finished building on stronger performances (usually carries injuries at seasons end)....did he have a late start to preseason?
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
Congratulations to Goodesy! And well done to the others!
My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"
"Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I can beat you, I've got Charizard!"
