    I thought Lyon withdrew?

Oh, I was thinking Garry. I guess you mean Ross. Now that is a surprise!

Well done to him, now be a nice lad and trade us Dal Santo for Chambers.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Amazing news if true. Horse will be even more surprised I guess.

Poor old Roosy must be pretty damn busy atm with all his assistants taking care of personal business.

Lyon's last year and a half as midfield coach has been OK. Still think centre clearances is a weakness. Maybe it is the personnel.

But his past as a player when he just dudded the Roys by standing out for a year would worry me a bit as far people skills go.

A loyal servant under Roos's style doesn't mean that style translates to him as a people person.

I'm surprised if Lyon really got the job. (based on SEN)?

I really thought Longmire was going to get the job.

But if Lyon did get it, i'm surprised.

Apparently...Matt Rendell from St Kilda has walked out after the coaching dilema. Perhaps a replacement for Lyon should he leave?

Good, lets keep Longmire for when Roos retires.

It would be good if Stewie became our midfield coach. Otherwise I'd get Voss. I'm sorry for John but very glad if he stays.

Well, Congradulations. I thought it would be worse to lose Longmire...but I'm not sure now.

The best bit in the article is this

"Silvagni has already declared his intention to seek a job as a full-time assistant coach next year to further his ambition of becoming a senior coach."

No chance of anymore special comments from the worst commentator in the business.

With all due respect to Ross.... I dont see the Saints winning a premiership with this team and coaching staff now. John would have been a different story.
