I wonder if his links to Walls helped...Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Kangaroos for sure.Originally posted by hammo
If I were a betting man I would say the Kangaroos or Carlton.
I don't believe Dean Laidley will last beyond the end of next season (probably earlier). From what I've seen in media interviews he looks like a nutcase. Laidley has also delivered very poor results with his short-term focus of recruiting duds from other teams (eg J. Rawlings, J. Hay & C. Thurley)
Longmire has his long playing history with the Kangaroos, has been involved in a successful period with Sydney and I believe will be odds-on to be their next senior coach.
Cheers

I get confused by this view...we've won one premiership and lost a second by ONE point. What's wrong with our match-day tactics?Originally posted by giant
Mick McGuane - who also left - is someone I've heard strong raps about too, especially from a match-day tactics perspective, not really the strong point of our current panel.
I'd say they were pretty good!Comment

I think our match day tactics (or lack thereof) were one contributor to our loss on GF day.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Good luck to Ross Lyon. I hope he get's the name of Rod Butters tailor so he can have his teflon suit made.
I hope we has read all the RWO threads on "corporate speak" as he's going to need it.
I hope he's got eyes in the back of his head to see the knives when they are coming.
Poor bugger!
Horse will be off to replace one of Laidley/Pagan/Thompson for 2008 I'm sure!Last edited by Lucky Knickers; 11 October 2006, 02:21 PM.Comment
