Not saying I agree with the new scheduling, but just that it may be the case.
    Yep.

The other possibility is that the Brisbane game in Brisbane has been dumped because of the fact we have 13 games in NSW/ACT and 6 in Melbourne.

Perhaps 2 WA games and 1 SA game? Can't wait until next week to actually find out.

Bring it on, have a crack and smash 'em. Doesn't matter where, who or when, if we're better we'll win.

Damn, i hope that's not the case. I'd like for us to play the Eagles in Sydney and Perth. Oh and yeah, one of the other games may not be in Brisbane, we might play them in Sydney.

The term "Draw" is a misnomer. The actual fact is that it is a "fixture" where certain rounds versus certain clubs are set in concrete. Other rounds are requested, offered, discussed and plotted. Don't know the last time it was actually "drawn" out of a hat.

              Was due yesterday.

They are now waiting to see if a deal can be done with Foxtel, likely to be out now on Monday/Tuesday.

I have it on good authority that it is in fact a random process. But only after you factor in home matches, clubs' preferences, blockbuster requirements, TV requirements, special rounds (e.g Heritage, split round), fixturing requirements (e.g. no 5-day breaks), travel requirements and so on.

Which leaves about 8 matches that are randomly assigned...

The Pay TV announcement is today.

I guess the draw announcement depends on how many changes were needed based on the agreement. Hopefully not too many.

Should be no later than tomorrow. The clubs would be wanting to get all their membership packages sorted and mailed out pretty soon.

And I received my 2007 diary at work today. Perfect timing.
