    Some criticism and some praise can be unfounded and some can be justified, of all players. That's hardly surprising as everyone has a different view. But everyone is entitled to their opinion and everyone else entitled to agree or disagree.

        Unfortunately he is an easy target for some...

        I'd hate to think where we would be now if we didn't have him.
        I, like many others, have been a harsh critic of his, even though I've never played AFL, over the past few years.
        Even though I have softened my opinion of him he still has a long way to go.
        Sure he has had some great wins against the big forwards in the last 2 years. but he has be found wanting in a number of games as well.

        So not all the criticism is "unfounded" or "uninformed" as you say.

            Yep.
            In the same way that my post defending LRT against unfair and unjustified attacks was not a criticism of every single person that has a poor opinion of him...

                I'll second this and add that there are players who can cover his role...better than he can.
                The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
