I think they'll probably be top four as well....as will the teams listed above, but 4 in to 5 doesn't go.....of the five listed you'd have to drop the Crows. The ins the Dogs have are enormous...didn't Brown change clubs for Wallace....hindsight is a wonderful thing....
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Really? Why? If I was a gambling man I'd back them to win the flag next year. But I'm not and a Swan so I don't.

If anything I'd say WCE or the Dockers will drop from the 4. Maybe both. Collingwood and the Saints can still be good. If Gardiner stands up for them then suddenly they have a powerful midfield. And what of Hawthorn and Richmond? Still fringe teams or ready to make a go of it in 07?

As much as its always amusing suggesting Richmond are ready to have a crack at it, I think they should go well next year (top 6).

Polak will be a handy addition to their team - they REALLY suffered when their tall timber was missing. Bowden is a handy player, but same as kennelly is better matched against players that wont break you if they get away.

Brown is a key player who was absent for most of this year (even when he did take the field). If he can regain some form they will be dangerous.

Then again, as I'm sure many tigers fans will be saying next year, maybe 08 doesnt look so bad.

Darcy is a year older and recovering from a long term injury. I don't expect him to stand out. Also, there is the issue of whether their style of play will stand up in big finals games. I know they whacked Collingwood, but against really good teams who can shut down their run I think they will again come up short.

Eade yet hasn't shown he's got anything other than a really good team of fast, skillful runners. When Darcy, Hahn and Morgan come back, yes they will be stronger but they'll also be slower for having them back in the team. At that point are their key players good enough to win under one-on-one physical pressure? Johnson and West maybe, but not sure about the rest.

May be another case of Eade getting teams into finals without ever really being a threat.

You're dreaming if you think WC will drop out of the 4....the Dockers List looks like it has improved - I'm not saying the Swans won't make the four....Crows are all thats left.

Just call it a hunch. Something tells me that WCE will have a less-then-perfect start to the year and their arrogance will see them fall from grace. Not far, but 6 doesn't go into 4. Those best primed to get in there are WCE, Dockers, Swans, Crows, Dogs and Saints.

The Crows simply dominated the H&A this year until injuries took their typical toll towards the end. They can't miss the 4.

Dockers, Swans, both finished in the 4 last year and have improved their lists again for 2007. No reason they both can't back it up.

Dogs and Saints both had horrendous injury lists in 06 and still managed to be competitive into the finals. Keep the sheet clean and one if not both get in.

WCE have shown no growth so far. The premiers do face up to the 'hunted' tag and will have to be more accountable for what they do. All it would take for them to drop out would be an injury to Judd, and he's overdue. Ruck and forward stocks depleted through trade, the old defenders can see Centrelink in the distance, they'll have a red hot go but will finish without the double chance.

Remember how tight the top 8 was this year. Predicting next year is a nightmare. But Eagles, they start falling.

i am hoping this happens to the eagles but unfortunately i can't see it happening and i reckon they'll easily finish in the top 4 and probably top 2 with freo IMO

                  .......
Crows remind me of Port during the Lions reign.

They were by far the best team in the H&A season, but come finals time they just choked.

The Crows don't deserve this title.....it's just the vibe.

Maybe not choke, but it's getting close..

Port dominated for 2 years before grabbing a flag. Given Adelaide's form in 05 and 06, does this mean they'll snare one in 07 and then shoot to the bottom of the ladder like Port?
