Swantastic: try and grow up mate.
They're entitled to respond, and they did so in an efficient & LEGAL manner. The trouble with the Irish is there's no middle ground or common sense, they're either scared little sheep, or lunatic chickens with their heads cut off.

You definetley sound like you know what you're talking about.... You must be part of the Irish coaching panel....

At the very least you're sounding exactly like them!

I'd probably like to debate this further, but it's obviously just going to produce more racism (all the ridiculous leprechaun and farmer nonsense) and lots of 'you are pussies & we are big tough men' bull. Maybe a bit of maturity would have made this sensible.

        Ah well.

FWIW, I watched the game feed through RTE, and their commentators were fairly adament that both sides were to blame for the violence in the 1st Quarter, the Irish players were out of line when dropping the knees and the tackle that caused all the headlines was "a legal tackle, nothing wrong in that, it's just the way he hit the ground"

We have all seen people knocked out in tackles in the footy. It is unfortunate, but within the rules.

I think if the Irish had owned up to the fact that they were as guitly as the Australians, no-one here would have batted an eyelid, but seeing what happened and then the Irish claiming they were the victims really rubbedc people up the wrong way. If you do something wrong, at least be man enough to own up to it.

The old you're "racist" and "immature" card Eirann??? Was wondering when that one was going to get played.... Guess you silenced us all with that one....
