The AFL was late getting the draw out this year (as we all know) so the Swans couldn't finalise the membership packages until this was done. Still took them a while though.

I would imagine this is due to the renovations and limited capacity at the SCG. I know it wouldn't happen, but say 3,000 Vic based members all decided they wanted to come to a SCG game, there wouldn't be enough seats! I don't see this continuing once the works are finished.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

While the new stand is being built that was always going to be the case that the SCG would be off limits for the 3 games. It makes sense as the club can still some limited GA tickets.

As for the $70, I have always booked through the Melbourne office for games even ones after my entitled 3 games and it has cost nothing more than $20 for a reserved seat on the lower concourse of that stand with the weird name.

It only cost us $11.00 for seats in the concourse for round 2 last year.

I had unreserved last year as we always bring a group on non-members with us. Got my letter early last week and have been informed that there will be no GA at the SCG this year.
