    He's a smokey, not only to be drafted, but in terms of going pretty early. Daniel really came on after the national carinval, he was our captain and unfortunately got injured early in the first final. He's got a lot of Luke Hodge in him in terms of game awareness and leadership, but he plays the game more like a Nathan Brown with a beautiful left foot," said Geelong Falcons regional manager Mick Turner.
