There are a lot worse kicks in the swans team than our ted.

IMO, Teds problem used to be hardness at the footy. His 2nd half of 2006 seemed to overcome that.

[i] C Bolton was already a good player - he has naturally improved over time, but he didn't lack an important skill. [/B]
B2 was a mediocre player that we have turned around into once of the better defenders in the AFL.

C Bolton played well from day one with us, showing he had the talent to do well.

His kicking remains a potential problem.

We have been able to improve players by increasing their application or giving them a chance or addressing their behaviour, but there are still no examples of players coming from other clubs with major skill deficiencies that we have fixed.

Spriggs was consistently hitting targets in the Magoos when he left. A real fan would have known that you negative nit picking arsehole.

Spriggs sucks! Are you questioning the coaching staff for not putting him in the firsts?

Don't agree with that. I think he's a better footballer with us than he was at Collingwood.

Jolly Richards and Bolton had not enough time on the ground with their previous clubs to know where they really stood in footy terms.

These players played cameo roles for three and four years then come to the Swans play regularly in a good, well drilled side and play in a winning grand final in two cases and one a good role in a close loss GF in the other...go figure!

Brennan has been cut due to injury plain and simple, not disposal.

And maybe we just need more singing talent to win "AFL Idol"???

Of the current bunch, only Nick Davis hasn't improved.

The Brennan issue will probably remain moot anyway. He'll only get a game if -

he recovers from his long-term injuries, and
                  he gets fit, and
he performs well in the reserves, and
a senior player gets a long-term injury, and
we need a back-up medium sized utility as a priority.

Chances are he'll be another Chris Obst.
Welcome back Clifford, it is good to have some serious input from someone with such vast footy knowledge and experience

Agreed. He was all potential at the Pies. At least with us he's produced it in a couple of games (eg 2005 Geelong final)

He did his bit in the last Grand Final too.

More than his bit..... He was probably out only player that played the entire game and could walk off the field with his head held high.....
