People are far too hard on him. He's a matchwinner with a bit of flair, which is something we don't have a whole lot of.

He won't do it every week, but seems to play well in finals - the qualifying final, semi final in '05 - and then this year in the Prelim and GF.

Hall, Richards and Jolly are all better players now than when they left their previous clubs.

Of the current bunch, only Nick Davis hasn't improved.

The Brennan issue will probably remain moot anyway. He'll only get a game if -

he recovers from his long-term injuries, and
he gets fit, and
he performs well in the reserves, and
a senior player gets a long-term injury, and
we need a back-up medium sized utility as a priority.

Chances are he'll be another Chris Obst.

Brenno had his ops well before he left hawthorn he should be getting back to fitness very very sooon
