There were only six goals in it this year. Even less last year.

I don't think it makes that much of a difference whether it's CHF or FF ... they all move around so much in the 50m circle that it's enough to say he's a "forward" (if you know what I mean).

Baz has to stop being so generous.

I'd really like to see him win at least one Coleman before he retires. He deserves that.

        That would be un-Bloodslike

Meanwhile, over on BigFooty they were discussing if Kirk or Judd was the most influential for his team. Maybe neither K or J would be in the top 15?

It's unlikely that the Swans would have a Premiership - or come within two points of back to back Premeirships without Kirk.

Meanwhile, the comp's most valuable CHF has had finals games when he wasn't.

We'd miss Hall more than Kirk - as the grand final showed!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

The Coleman medal rewards the best goalkicker, yes. However, the best goalkicker does not always add up to best forward.

                  Agreed.
BBBH is the best forward, we all know that, the AFL know that, hell, I'd put down money on Banana Boots even knowing it!! Poor BBBH, always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
The reward and recognition for being the "best forward" in the competition (i.e. the best forward being the person who kicks the most goals in the home and away season) is the Coleman.
Baz gives it away every year.

The mind boggles with how they come up with figures like this. Do you think they use a calculator?
After a very average year "leaping" may consider himself lucky to get $500k!

Ok, one is a mid fielder, the other a defender and the other a forward, but they are "all captaining" the team.

With that pricing structure, I'd say BBBH was the "Captain", Hippyboy the "Vice" and Leaping Leo the "Vice's Vice".

They should just come out and say so instead of saying we have "three equal captains".
Just quietly... I think it should be Kirky, BBBH then Leaping.... but shhhh... don't tell anyone

I think the GF showed the absence of which player has most impact on the team.
