If they want their own database they should have shown more support for the club before it moved. They come out of the woodwork now and want their own database but if a few more had have got their name on the database (admittedly a card file system) back in 1981 there would not need to be a Sydney database. The Sydney database saved their stinking Lake Oval hides and now they have their own bloody database with their own numbering system. There are about 30,000 Melbournites who all claim to have been on the Melbourne database in 1981. Well let's see it! Two cities, one database - it is the SYDNEY Swans, not the Sydney/South Melbourne Swans. Get on the Sydney database or get lost I say!

Just on Melbourne based memberships, what is the best one for somebody like myself who will be with the Cheer Squad? Is there a GA full club membership or is it all set-seating because of the Telstra Dome?

I may well be entering Homebush in Round 1 with a Melbourne-based membership. Kinda weird I think.

You're cheapest alternative is a season ticket to all Melbourne games. It means you are on the Melb database, and only pay for what you need. Full Vic membership gives entry to the 3 Telstra Stadium which you probably don't need.

I have been told the Melbourne membership number is a Ticketmaster generated number, and that is why it is seperate to the Sydney memberships.
