Well said RL, I would have been more than happy if Roosy said that.
I am not angry at Roosy as per say and everyone reacts to a heartbreaking defeat differently, but did Roosy's comments really reflect how the team felt, or were they just his opinions?
IMO his post match comments should have reflected more appropriately the tears of Goodesy, Hall and others who had run themselves into the ground trying to win a flag, not the ying and yang that he was going on about post match and again in yesterday's Sydney magazine.
For a guy who has only 1 flag after playing or coaching 500 plus games I find it puzzling that he can be so flippant about missing a golden chance to secure another.
Having said that I think he's a great coach, and I'll pass comment on what game plan he should implement in07 in another thread.
