We've won a flag and been beaten by a point in a GF over the last two years, which is a pretty good record. Slow starts seem to work for us - why mess with the formula?

Because I really, really, really, really want them to bury the budgies in round one.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Should be different this time around. Playing WC in Round 1 should work to our advantage. I think last year we struggled as we had a four week shorter break than Essendon who missed the finals in 2005. They were much fresher, we were playing away from home and our backs were struggling with the new rule changes and the umpires' interpretations / Lloyd favouritism.

This year our R1 opponent has had the same length of break and they haven't beaten us since 2000 in Sydney. I'd be disappointed if we lost this one. I reckon it won't be the usual close game either. I'm expecting a 3-4 goal victory for the Bloods. How things will pan out in the ensuing weeks I haven't formed an opinion on. Best to play it one week at a time.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

          Not quite "perfectly" last season!
