When a @@@@load of experienced players had been spraying them left right and centre all night, "The Kid" steps up with 2 minutes to go on a tightish angle, afte copping one in the face from KingUserKerr, setshot and slots it through to put us within a kick of drawing the game. Showed a lot of composure.Comment

Yes, and with all the build up and hype we put on a socking display in front of 63000 people. A lot of these people don't normally go to swans games and we put them off from going again. I haven't heard a quieter 63000 crowd up untill the last qtr when we all started to hope for an undeserved victory. The Swans have to get there finger out or the membership will drop next season.RED RAGComment

And in terms of "getting their finger out" what exactly will satisfy you. Maybe reaching a Grand Final - and even winning one? Which of course is what the team has achieved over the two most recent seasons.
I understand the disappointment at losing to an undermanned opponent and the team playing ordinary football for an hour or so. But to suggest they are on the brink of losing support because of it is just a tad ridiculous given recent achievements.Comment

I thought the noise level was pretty good for most of the game, not just at the end. The C10 commentators spoke about the noise level several times.

Here's a positive, I saw almost all of each game this weekend and outside of the Bulldogs and Port Adelaide, West Coast & Sydney are still miles ahead of the rest of the league at this stage.
Sometimes you have take results in their entirity. Yes we lost to an undermanned West Coast but as long as we can keep pace with West Coast this year we will be around the mark come Preliminary Finals time.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

How can it be a positive to say "We need to keep pace with WC" and actually think we are currently, when we lost to them at home when they were undermanned. Yes, we do need to keep pace with them during the year, but we don't really know if we will yet. Maybe there will be a drop off - it happens to many sides.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
