Which brings me to my other whinge. I live in the Inner west. To catch a train I either have to drive to Strathfield (which is almost all the way to the ground anyway), or catch an inner-west train and change at strathfield. But Inner west trains run at most every 45 minutes, which makes it a very long wait after the game.

Surely some of the City - Strathfield - Homebush trains could make a stop at Stanmore ?? Maybe just one in 3 ?

As good an idea that is, its far too senisble for city Rail to comprehend to have an all stations to the city at that time of night for footy fans, no make em wait is their motto.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I go back to Redfern and catch the expresses to/from Olympic Park from there. Yes, more often than not the sign there says 26 minutes until the next train. But that is the life of a Sydney-living train commuter I'm afraid.
I'm just lucky that when at a pinch I can walk home from either Erskineville or St Peters as well as Newtown.

            Damn you all.

I have to say, I didn't notice them at all.

Well, I noticed that they were there, but they didn't distract me one iota.

NOW, of course, they will annoy the @@@@@ out of me because you have brought them to my attention.

A bit like when my mate said to me during the 3rd quarter "Jude's done SFA". Up until that point it hadn't annoyed me, because I hadn't even noticed he was there. From then on it was painful.
