My brother barracks for the Cats so that is why I am going. As the Swans only play 5 or 6 games in Melbourne I tend to go and watch Geelong as well when I can.

checked for members cards at the two enterances i could see at AM yesterday. it was packed but was still great, i havent had a chance to get to an AM before as usually rushing home to get to work. I arent interested in chasing signatures was just after a beer and listen to players after game so was enjoyable for me

I can't say I'm a fan of the MCG area after matches much any more. You simply cannot here the people on the podium at all. It sounds as though Grubby and the players are talking into tin cans. The accoustics in the auditorium there are kind of ordinary to be honest. And $8 for a Cougar, OUCH!

I'll go as I get to see people sitting elsewhere in the ground. But I can't say I really enjoy them awfully much. Too many people, drinks too expensive & you just can't hear.

It is great as a Sydneysider having other games to go and watch. Watched Essendon-Freo today from up in Level 3 for the first time. Really enjoying seeing footy when you aren't passionate about the result. You can just watch the game for the game's sake.

Freo frigging squibbed it, I swear. Had the game there for the taking then did not take opportunities they should have in the 3rd & 4th quarter.

Agreed JF. We're going down for the Hawks v Swans game (June long weekend) and look like seeing the Friday night game at the Dome (Bombers v Weagles) and Sunday arvo at the Dome (Kangas v Saints).

Does anyone know if we're having an aftermatch at the G on that weekend?
