To think I got 1000/1 on him for the Brownlow after Round 1.

Trouble is Half Back Flankers dont win the Brownlow. Still here's hoping if he keeps up this scintillating form.

Yeah what is this Melcho carp.

At least "Eski" has some degree of cleverness about it.

It started at the Richmond game where Triple M Melbourne were doing the call.

James Brayshaw kept referring to him as "My man Malcho" (he claims a player in the 1st quarter of every match). Since Mal/Eski/Malcho was best on ground that day he certainly got plenty of airtime.

As Swantastic said earlier, the MMM boys interviewed him after the game and they asked him what he thought of the new nickname. He said he loved it (and you could tell that he did) and that he would try and get the other Swans boys to run with it.

If it's good enough for the man himself then surely it's good enough for Swantastic. My only beef would be with the spelling. (Too confusing for the uninitiated).
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

                1. It's definetley the "Eski"... Nothing else. Simply un-Australian to have such a unique oppurtunity to have the nick name of Australia's most iconic travelling accessory and not use it.
                2. I'd trade Goodes before I would trade Eski. No kidding. This guy is going to be a superstar and the backbone of our cup campaign's on 2011, 2012, 2013.
                3. He is deads set on fire this year. Glad I have him in my dream team as captain.

It's funny they say he is a 'most improved player' indicating somehow that he was ordinary before rather than a young developing player.

There was a thread on Bigfooty talking about best midfielders in 5-6 years. The Eski's name didn't even come up. Talk about going under the radar.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

                        Of course not.

                        a) He plays for Sydney. Everyone on BF knows that Sydney has no decent younger players.

                        b) He wasn't either a top 10 pick or chosen by Hawthorn. These are the two main criteria that guarantee that any promising youngster will be a superstar within a couple of years.

Does that mean we poached one in Luke Brennan?

Love Eski..I got that1000/1 for the brownlow and 250 the place as well earlier in the season...but I don't think Peter Daicos would take to well to him being called the Macedonian Marvel! Altho I have a feeling we might talk about them at the same level in a few years.
