the best part is malceski makes his possessions count 9 times out of 10. Its not much of a measure i know but look at his scores in the herald sun super coach, he scores very highly because he makes few mistakes.
Theres not much left to say

That could be something as simple as it being the 20 minutes of 'ice off' time.

          Or it could not . . .
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

I think he got it about 22 odd times today and each time he had possession, I felt a bunch of things at once, RELIEF (he's a steadier with time), EXCITEMENT (he can do anything with it really), EXPECTATION (I feel like there is a very good chance a scoring target will be hit).

Sadly for the Swans, the "no stars" thing is false in it's bare description:

The sooner you start ignoring these commentators who know less about the game than a member of the Masai warriors the better.

I think this is said more in reference to the midfield than the entire team.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I think we're still just the Cortina's... Maybe a couple of us have been lowered, Had some 18" alloys thrown on with low profie tyres and a six-stacker with a subwoofer installed, but hardly any stars.

Goodes, Hall, Davis, maybe Kennelly & ROK, and in his day Spida. But the rest of the guys really are pretty "blue collar".

Barry, Bolton and Kirk are just hardworking regular contributors.

But you might be onto something with Malceski. Perhaps he will be our next star?? He's certainly looking the goods at the moment.

Why is it that when the ESKI runs my heart doesn't jump like it was LEO..why is it that LEO can't do what ESKI does without the mostly unnecessary indecision? Perhaps they could have a chat, or Paul of the new haircut, but unchanging mono voice, could sit LEO down to watch some film of ESKI & himself.

I will cop that one, only because I compiled that list in 20 seconds, I love Mick. Was only thinking as I was watching on Sunday that I am seriously not looking forward to his last game at all.

Mick is in an interesting part of his career now. Not really rated outside Swans lovers. He kicks the Swans to victory 3 or 4 games a year ala Subiaco last year but doesn't get the praise of Umps or Callers.

He can disappear completely in games and end it with 3 touches and there's no explaination as to why.

I think with Mick, his is a career that will blow up and shine proudly upon reflection after retirement. Maybe one more flag in 2007 would be the final chapter and polish on one of the best indigenous player careers ever in Australian sport!

I keep having to remind myself he's only played 30-odd games. He's just slotted right into the senior team, it's hard to imagine the side without him now.

Interesting call on MO'L, I think he and Hall are almost like the Swans' McGrath and Warne. These two combine so well on the field, it will be tough to fill the gaping hole in the forward line when they retire. We somehow need to find a way to get a few more games into the likes of Vogels and Grundy before then.
