I'm very happy with my new front row upper level Churchill Stand seats.

I was surprised at the low crowd figures (24k) considering it was announced on MMM that it was sold out.

Remember ther's only a couple of thousand general public tickets available - sell all them and it's technically a sell out. Same way we used to get 30-something thousand "sell outs"

Well the Noble stand concourse level is reconfigured, more seats, more cramped, less aisles (as they have been taken up by the seats).

With a great and people around & behind us the chants not only echoed. But others got quite vocal & joined in, especialy during the 4th quarter.

I was dreading what things would be like at the SCG this season. I was extremely surprised by how good it all was, especially as they appear to have moved the goalposts around a couple of metres & appeared more adroit with the netting pre-match.

You could actually hear the chanting on the tv JF. We were watching it at my brothers and it sounded great.

Still the same old @@@@-hole it's always been.

We've given up on the Ladies Stand and relocated to the MA Noble as we just can't handle those old stands any longer.

The final straw was having to sit behind the player box as they were the only seats left when we got there.

I actually prefer where the bigger screen is now, not really anything i could complain about. Although, i was beginning to think that they were going to leave those massive nets behind the goals up, but eventually (infact minutes before the game) they took them down.

I liked the revamp of the Noble Stand Bar. There is now a new set of photos of some of the memorable Swans SCG moments, ND's winning goal in '05, Pluggers 1300th goal etc. Plus a huge pic on the side wall of the team at the SCG the Sunday after the Grannie win. From the Noble Stand that scoreboard in the Churchill was totally useless, but fortunately we can also see the new Messenger board as well. They kept the tennis courts behind the Noble free for the kids to kick their footies at half time (other years there have been SCG members playing tennis), only a little thing but the kids sure appeared to be having a good time.

We're sitting on the boundary of Bay 10 right next to the construction, and our only problem was that we couldn't here 'Cheer Cheer' before or after the game as there is no stand behind us, therefore no speakers!

I wonder what they did with that 1987 pic at the match vs Hawthorn.

It was very faint where we were in 25 as well. I guess in both our positions we were suffering from the lack of speakers from the old scoreboard on the hill.

Exactly the same for our group in the 2nd tier of the O'Reilly stand. Have already sent an email to the club and Trust asking them to up the volume for the speakers.

Some of the atmosphere is lost with the missing stand down at what we should now name the "Tonker Toy" end of the ground. But one thing I noticed was that despite the tiny crowd, it actually felt like there were a lot of people there because we were all crammed in. The official crowd was 24k or so. And there wasn't much room to breathe.

I think fans over on the Brewongle side would have little to complain about. But for those on the other side the inconveniences are more drastic. We all have to enter through gate "F" which has only about 3 turnstiles. So the queues caused massive delays (arriving with 20mins to spare I only just narrowly avoided missing MOL's first goal). The loss of the big screen is an annoyance. Very pleased the SCG trust has finally deigned to put a screen at both ends of the ground. But unfortunately the new screen is pretty tiny. You can barely read any of the figures on the screen (and I'm in the second row). Actually found it easier to look over my shoulder at the moved screen behind us. Also not being able to hear the music at the end of the game destroyed what should have been a rousing rendition of the club song. We need speakers ASAP!

Don't want to whinge too much. But it's going to be a long couple of years.

There was quite a big crowd coming in through Gate C for the Brewongle/Churchill Stands just before 1pm too. And we could hardly hear the club song in the Churchill Stand either.
