We were in the Ladies Stand and couldn't hear properly either. Hope they adjust the volume for the next game.

I sat in the Noble Stand, and i could barely hear the club song. No one was really singing either, just clapping!! I thought i must've been the only one who knew the words, but that cant be any excuse considering the words are now played on the big screen.

Hard to get 24k people to sing in unison with no audible music. I think everyone was clapping as they always do waiting for the musical cue to start the song. And it never came. But like you I just decided stuff it, and started singing it off my own bat.

Same deal in the Churchill - can hardly hear the song.

Looks like the problem is more widespread than originally thought. My guess is it was probably a one off, just like the North Sydney practice game, where the Eagles song would start, then they would quickly switch to the Sydney song.

Fascinating and kinda poignant (hate that word but had to use it).
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

The only things that I felt were an improvement were the scoreboard on the Messenger Stand and the general atmosphere because we were all a lot closer together. The atmosphere is a side effect of the renovations rather than deliberate decisions though. I'm also intrigued to see how the scoreboard goes during summer at the cricket considering it faces directly into the afternoon sun.

The queues to get in through my normal quiet entry in the Brewongle Stand were very annoying.

get there on time instead of sitting in the pub and you'd be ok

I was there comfortably before ball-up thank you despite the queue. What cheek!

Anyway, that's no way to speak to the half-dead. Stupid virus.

perhaps just in time!!!!!! You need to get there earlier so Jnr can see the ressies and run between the seats before they get filled and have some fun with the other kids (when they turn up) and actually have a chat to the lovely girls who sit near you.

and you're not only one with who was half dead, but I guess some are more dedicated to our entire squad???

Unfortunately I was getting worse rather than getting better, as the three days I've just spent at home will attest.
