I already knew he was scum with no credibility, but in this case he should have a case to answer. If anyone should be taking legal action for having their name besmirched it should be Carr against Chick.

Reported on Fox Sports News that Chick was arrogant and refusing to answer questions. Must be the quickest decision ever made at the tribunal. The Eagles definitely have a culture problem and unfortunately it reflects badly on AFL in general and in particular to those who follow other sports.

Chick should receive the 3 week suspension that Carr was facing.

There is an obvious culture of being deceitful and untruthful on dispicable proportions within the club.

Chick appeared agitated throughout his testimony. He yawned, refused to answer a question about when he left the field, talked down to Donaldson and regularly referred to him as "mate" and "buddy".

you know, I ahve been following footy for a long time, over different codes, I dont reckon I have ever heard a case like this before. I agree...Chick should be suspended or at the very least fined by his own club.

I am trying to stay very unbiased towards the eagles but every week something happens...no other club has the behaviour problems which are appearing here at the moment. Sorry I have just zero sympathy for them anymore.

The tribunal has the power to suspend or fine a player for giving unsatisfactory evidence, but did not exercise that power last night.

Chick is an absolute grub. he is just wasting everyone's time and should be fined or suspended by the AFL.

The AFL should also slap the Eagles with a heavy fine as they are the ones who lodged the complaint and for good measure include it under their salary cap. That should wipe the smile of Trevor Nesbitt's arrogant dial once and for all.

On and on it goes and the AFL sits on its hands and does almost nothing while the Evils snigger away to themselves, seemingly untouchable.

That's the biggest problem - the untouchable image they have developed through the AFLs weakness. When you read the accounts of Chick's testimony, it is so blatant the lack of respect that was there, and it's so very typical these days - they have no respect, no scruples and nothing is being done to fix it, to let them know they need to pull their heads in. It reflects so poorly on the whole league, and makes our administrators look so incompetent it's not funny.

Plus they get an armchair ride from the umpires. It will leave a very sour taste in many a mouth if these arrogant toss bags somehow pull off another premiership.

I was dismayed to hear that Nick Stevens won't be playing this weekend which I thought would lessen Carlton's chance of victory. Then I thought, "Hang on, I've never wanted Carlton to win a game ever". Times must be a changing.
