    We have buried teams.
    And we should have tonight.

    Sure, take the win.
But why didn't we play as well in the last three quarters as we did in the first?

I will take the win but a better effort will be needed against the good sides.

I Thought Kirk was our best tonight.

Now I can look forward to my 2 week holiday in Melbourne. 8 games footy with 2 wins against the Roos and Saints. I can't wait.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I was being slightly sarcastic, but we rarely bury teams, usually it's a fight. We did kick 5 goals in the last quater too, maybe a little dissappointing in the middle, but it was slippery all night.

                1. Schmidt is impressive - he is going to be a 100 + game player
                2. Ditto Moore, but needs to get more touch on his kicks instead of booting the cahoolies out of it
                3. Malceski is an out and out gun. If there is a more accurate penetrating long distance pass going around, I'd like to know who it is
                4. There is something wrong with Goodes, even before he @@@@@@ his shoulder and rubbed himself out for next week
                5. Spida Everitt is the slowest player in the competition - like watching treakle through a straw. I think he'll have a mixed season - good and bad, but not necessarily consistent.
                6. Crouch has lost some pace and thinks he's faster than he is - got caught a few times tonight
                7. Jolly has some talent in the forward 50 - he is a good kick for goal
                8. McVeigh appears to be a purely negative player and is actually reasonably good at it, but will never justify his high draft position.
                9. Nick Davis is incredibly valuable to our team. The forward line seems to function better when he is around.
                10. Barry Hall can't prop and pivot on his knee at the moment, but can do everything else perfectly well, as long as it is in a straight line. he actually looked better for it at times - running straight at the ball and actually attempting to mark it with both arms up instead of wrestling and knocking the ball to ground.

A game that was generally pretty ugly to watch but was punctuated by some electrifying passages when we got our act together.
                Pretty good summary.

And hence the comment that we weren't so good and it was frustrating we didn't win by more when we should have.

No - good behaviour and possibly an early plea, if he is cited, would see him play.

                    Looked crap tonight though.

The second half was dull as ditchwater but in their defence, I think conditions were a little harder than they looked, and once it was obvious they weren't going to lose the game, it is tough to condemn them for maybe not attacking the ball as hard as usual - even more so once two had gone down.

A fifty point victory in greasy conditions is not to be sniffed at.

goodes wasnt much worse than bruce with his love tap on mveigh for no reason.

Im not worried about the report, but whats up with goodes? he went a bit nuts against the crows as well and gave that 50m away. Was he carrying an injury before the game? because that fall didnt look that bad

(Dun)Kirk 3 - in the trenches in the Anzac Round.

Mal 2 - The Leftorium Is Open For Business, more after the TAB visit tomorrow.

Alwyn's Bro 1 - wanted to give it up to The Large Professor but Davey had a great second half.
I was wrong about Gerard and his hair.

                              Great games also from

Jude Bolton: Really looked comfortable on the ball again. Now Roos just leave him there! Forget about the forward line.

Kirk: Same old Kirk, tireless worker. 32 possessions.

                              Leo: Super solid in defence.

Mcveigh: Thank christ he's got a goal for the year, seemed to of lifted his confidence after that.

Nicky D: Great to have the maestro back! Class act in the forward line.

                              The others:

Goodes: someone get into his head and find out wtf is going on with him. We need the 03/06 model back ASAP!

Spida: Slow and can't take a contested mark to save his life. Ruckman wise he was good with some clever taps but really needs to get into it more like Jolly is.
