According to post yesterday Davis will start in the seconds. We have problems then - if no Craig Bolton, no Nic Davis, no Buchanan.

We need to get a team up and going - of course kicking straight would help
      Love those Swans

Yes. Genius is single handedly dragging your team from the jaws of defeat by kicking half of your teams total score in the last quarter of a semi-final to launch them into a grand final where they win their first premisership in 72yrs.

If Davis does nothing else of note in his football career, in my books he will forever be remembered as a genius for that magical evening in 05.

let's hope it doesn't come to that - I'm sure Nick would like to be remembered for something other than one qr of footy, no matter how good. Maybe even winning a Brownlow.

This article provides a little more concrete info than normal from a newspaper article, going beyond the normal fluff about improving goal kicking to actually naming names at training.

Very good news there for the ND fan club - not just as a reminder that he knows where the goals are, but also suggestion that he's fit enough to come straight back into the senior team this weekend.

It's interesting that there was no mention of Barry Hall. Is his knee preventing him from training to the extent he can't even participate in goal kicking drills??

Still looking for a ball too. Everytime he thinks he has one Rutten comes out of nowhere and swats it away.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                          Davis back to tackle Demons

Nick Davis has been selected to play Melbourne while Amon Buchanan remains questionable

Am I the only person who thinks the Amon Buchanan situation is strange? I just can't believe he will be back as the injury looked bad on the TV.

(That was during the brief time I didn't have my hands over my eyes due to the decision making!!!!!)

It just seems too quick a recovery.

I wish I could have some of what the medical staff use to put on my poor old knee. It's playing up and we're only 3 games into the hockey season.
