Also given what Schmidt has been contributing in the last few weeks, he would be pretty stiff to get dropped this week.

He has looked the most comfortable of any of our <20 game players.

Just like to say that I was always on McVeigh's side, and never got into the bagging of him that was becoming a trend on this site.

I'm very happy that I finally got my wish that McVeigh has finally been given some attacking freedom.
I've enjoyed watching him play the last couple of weeks, and no doubt he has enjoyed playing. This may be the change he needed, he looks like a new man!

He got a bagging cos he deserved it all those weeks he was @@@@e. He played a decent game against WCE, but don't get too excited until he strings a few of these and keeps it going. Also keep in mind that his opponent for most of the night got 38 touches despite having 4 months out of the game.

His opponent that you speak of, one Mr. Icey, got 11 possessions vs. McVeigh's 10 or something like that in the 35 or so minutes they spent on each other according to the Herald Sun. Now, I know that this is not the most reliable source in the world, but I am pretty satisfied this time that this is close to the mark. He played a good game on the weekend, i'll say it. I have been one to bag the absolute suitcase out of him this season because he has been so poor, but he did play well on the weekend. He needs consistency now...that is the hardest thing to achieve I think. But at least we know he can get the ball a little bit - it is a start.

I actually thought jarrad plAYED well on saturday nite. If his disposal was abit better then i think he would be handy. Considering he was tagging supposedly he did seem to get alot of the ball himself!
Mayb tagging is just not for him!
