Tonight effort was the same sort of crap we were playing in 05. Im baffled to even think what next week holds for us. i wonder if that little Saints thug will get reported for sticking one on Crouchs chin early in the first or second quater.

Well, I`m at the stage now where I`ve stopped worrying about the rest of the season. I now expect to lose and IF we win I`ll be over the moon. I`m cringing at the moment now though because I`ve got all my relatives coming over for mothers day today and they are majority E-Girls. Who just love to rub it in. My neice is a docker so I can take a bit of sollace with her.
One thing I got from the paper today was that the last time we started 3 - 4 after round 7 was 2005. The difference there though was I still had huge confidence in the team then.

I don't think that at a similar stage in 2005 any of us genuinely had the Swans pencilled in as a top four team, let alone the eventual premiers. Scant consolation I know, but there is some chance they'll turn things around.
Also worth noting that our lowpoint of the 2005 season was a pathetic loss to the Saints at Telstra Dome - though it was a bit later in the season than round 7.

We started a lot later in 2005, but I think the team was better then.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
