For mine, given he's coming back from a long break, he's added some much needed pace, averaging 12 touches & 3 tackles a game, we haven't been hurt too badly by his opponent (that I recall anyway?). Sure, he's hardly been scintallating but he's an important player for us and one we need to get back into touch. There are others who I think should be paying the price before Crouch.
Agree... There's plenty in fornt of him on the "need-to-be-dropped" list....

Good starting list... Jack might be the only one to consider himself a little unlucky to be on that list.

Teddy has made some cringeworthy disposal errors but defensively he's been doing OK, apart from the towelling up he got from Aaron Edwards. First couple of games he was actually very impressive.

In any case, you'd have to think his position is absolutely secure at least until LRT is ready to return.

Mr Mc Veigh lets the side down nearly every game with poor disposal and a weak attack on the ball and opposition....he must go !!Not crouchie :

I would like everybody who reads this to put the microscope on Mc Veigh.
              What I've found isn't pretty !!

Milne should have visited the tribunal this week for striking Crouch in the first quarter but I guess the yellow maggot that saw it forgot to report it. Well at least Crouchy took it on the chin and got up.

Yeah his position is safe because both Vogels and Grundy seem to be better in the forward line. I don't mind him but I reckon he's struggling. He was comprehensively beaten by Edwards and made a lot of errors against the Saints.

Just back from the Ladies lunch, chatting to Tadgh, says knee is going well and should play reserves this week, maybe seniors next week.

Personally think J Mc has more to be worried about in terms of being dropped, rather than Crouch.

This team often go to ridiculous lengths to protect its favourites...I reckon we owe it to Crouch more than to a lot of the really protected species (past / present), to let him get to 200 without being dropped unless his form was the absolute worst...which it clearly is not.
If he is dropped ahead of McVeigh, Bolton, Bevan, Richards (OK we need height, even if it is hopeless at the moment), then the selectors are on a different planet.
Yes I am giving sentiment some space here...but he has not been worse than the other blokes listed.
