No offence barry, but gee I am glad you are not on the match committee.

Why would you take a team that is not the quickest going around and make it slower in the week that we are to take on the quickest side going around on a ground that is the second largest in the AFL?

And as for McVeigh going out, that makes no sense. You don't drop a bloke who after a very rough patch finally produced what the coach wanted last weekend.

Besides McVeigh is suited to play on the slight, agile, hard running players like Pearce and which the Bulldogs have copious amounts of. He will get a job this week on a McMahon, Gia......., Ray type of player and will hopefully produce what he did last weekend.

As for changes, I think Laidlaw for Beven would make sense this week just to add another player with pace and hard running capacity.

We smashed the Dog's last year dominating the clearances and winning the contested ball, our A grade intensity game will be needed this week for a similar result.

Who's gonna play on Cootie? Against the Pies he spent almost the whole 1st half up forward resting, and torching Rhyce Shaw.

Then in the 2nd half he went to the center and was still tearing things up late. I thought he pipped Westie for BOG.
I was wrong about Gerard and his hair.

Brad Johnson only 50-50 chance to play as well.

Sounds like he won't look out of place if he's brought back then.

That would swing things greatly toward us.

Especially if C. Bolton misses. He's the only player I can see being suitable for Johnson.

He has been listed a couple of times this year with hamstring.

Seems to be having some trouble with it, despite not actually tearing or straining it.
