    Exciting win.

Roos just said he hopes Nick and Kennelly are back next week - Kennelly went to hospital this week and was cleared of anything major.

Tadgh and Davo to return next week. Ominous for the rest of the league.

Swans put Victorian AFL footy to bed for a nana nap. Nice.

Well that was a really pleasing win. We had been gathering a bit of momentum before this game but I was worried we might have a slight hiccup today, but instead they played really well and pushed the momentum further forward.

Hard to find too many negatives and there were a lot of positives.

        Goodes starting to gather form.
        Plenty of goalkickers.
Midfielders starting to add positive influence.
Continued good performance in backline and still generating run without Kennelly.
        Fantastic game from ruck division.

Only issue, which is not huge, is Hall. I thought he worked hard to eventually have an influence and play a good game, but he really needs to focus and stop sooking.

We will look even better once we replace Bevan and Grundy with Kennelly and Davis.

The most pleasing aspects of the past two weeks are increased intensity and positive attacking moves.

Unfortunately it looks like Bevan might survive with the Crouch injury. Depends on the extent of it I guess.

In that case then I would suggest that we would be better served with another attacking player, such as Schmidt or even Laidlaw (or someone else from the reserves). What a perfect time to introduce some more young players.

I think the word is "clinical". The boys pretty systematically dismantled them, which is encouraging to see. We never looked like being threatened.

Swans have really turned it on the last two weeks and played the type of match winning footy that we know they are capable of. Apart from the good, solid win created by an all round good team peformance, the highlight for me was the return to form by Goodes.

We should smash the Bombers next weekend if we keep playing like that and start pushing our way into the top 4. The game against the Hawks at the MCG in 2 weeks is shaping up as a ripper! Am glad I have my flight booked already.

You could see we were switched on right from the start. Goodes was awesome and Michael O'L continues to be the mercurial footballer other teams have difficulty matching up on.

Grundy took a couple of good marks in that last quarter.

Overall, well coached against the Bulldogs and hopefully we keep the momentum going.

I'm not looking forward to the Hawks game.... I think it's going to be one of the ugliest scraps we've seen for a while.... I'm gonna say 12 goals total for the match

I don't want to piss on the parade - the Swans were good today - but the Dogs did not turn up. There was no intensity what so ever from them, no run, no pace. They did not have a forward and were generally very ordinary. God win to Sydney but not the game we had hoped for.

Swans were ok today but they still stuffed around with it a bit,but i am looking forward to Davo and Tiger back.

I thought the 'Dogs looked more clean and effective than us in a lot of the first quarter, but after that they never really looked threatening. Missing players and lack of forward options probably helped with that, plus our pressure to compound these problems.

pretty standard win. Some awful umpiring for both sides. Nothing too flash but nice and solid, all you ask for really.

Micky looks on song for a good one - he usually plays well against the Dogs.

BBBH just needs to keep his cool and keep presenting up the ground - that is the tactic - let the ruckmen and Mick in behind.

Goodesy is getting better and Malceski looks like a 100 gamer.
100 gamer! That is very pessimistic. Try at least 200 and captain. The man is an out and out star. Must get votes today, 1000/1, go you good thing.
