From what I heard on SEN, it was more a case of the Swans didn't give their opponents the liberty they are used to. they manned up and the only way the dogs were going to get away with the ball was to literally beat their opponent.

Which is how Adelaide beat them earlier this year.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

FFS, it has been said that it was a good win. Those that were at the game would agree that the Dogs were very flat, and that they got shafted by the umpires. Sydney played well but the Dogs today were not a very useful yardstick.Comment

He put his body on the line a few times when he dropped into the hole and did take one overhead mark, but until late in the game he missed a target with as good as every disposal. In the third quarter he threatened to bring the Dogs back into the game with a couple of horrible turnovers.Comment

We had the Doggies on THE LEASH. Similar in style to last week's MASSIVE POWER OUTAGE.I was wrong about Gerard and his hair.

I don't want to piss on the parade - the Swans were good today - but the Dogs did not turn up. There was no intensity what so ever from them, no run, no pace. They did not have a forward and were generally very ordinary. God win to Sydney but not the game we had hoped for.
That effort was about as best a clinical display of how we want to play our football we have seen for a while.

I'm with ROK. I saw the game from three rows back from the fence, which is a bizarre experience for someone used to sitting halfway up the O'Reilly Stand or on Level 4 of Telstra. Angles all look completely different and it is impossible to judge how far players are from goal on the opposite side of the ground. So will reserve final judgement until I've watched a replay.
But certainly came away from ground thinking it was just a 'B' performance from our boys today. Was certainly nice to see Goodes and Jude back in form, but the Dogs were very very disappointing and never really took it up to the Swans. Never did it seem as if our guys were playing at the intensity that should have been required for an 8 goal win against a team supposedly a contender and supposedly in form. No complaints about what the Swans dished up - apart from a bit of messing around with the ball inside 50, like Micky marking on almost no angle but still trying to pick out Pebbles with a pass, that missed. But we certainly didn't have any really decent competition today.Comment

good to see us playing that type of footy after the dome disasters and still have plenty of room for improvement - but as someone mentioned earlier we still have way too many brain fades and do some really dumb things but i guess i can't complain too much
it's great to know that kennelly and davis are to come in to the side - hopefully we'll nail the bombers next week but i'm really looking forward to the hawks game, they are going well at the moment
my highlight for the day was malceski once again setting up plays from half back through the centre corridor and the dominance of spida and jolly
and i agree about hall - just play the ball and he will get rewarded (even though he did get some soft frees)Roosy = LEGENDComment

Gee, some of you are hard to please. I thought we were great today.
The Bulldogs looked ordinary because we didn't let them play their game. We made them look like they didn't come to play.
Considering last week we were all saying that Kennelly was our most important player, given his absence today makes it even a better win.

Overall a very good first half.
For someone of his size and talent, Hall is becoming the biggest whinger and weakest sook in the competition. Harris has totally outpointed him and Hall has spent too much time complaining about supposed infringements that aren?t there, rather than concentrating on getting the ball.

Awesome match by every1!
Was a great match to watch and be at. The sun shined all day. Was actually quite warm down my end!
I dunno if any1 on here is intersested or was sitting at the non score board end so the end away from the dogs cs but during the third quater when Crouch did a hammy he was massaged then he was up running sprints alont the boundry.
Then at three quater time he was sprinting across the field and bak.
Could he possibly be running and sprinting if he had major damage to his hamstring?
I would love some1s medical advice lol.
Cheers
