Three ridiculous suggestions have been made in recent posts so here is my response to each:
1. The "drop McVeigh" cheersquad... if he wasn't dropped prior to the Port game he won't be dropped now considering he's coming off a game where he played quite well. He showed good qualities last year where he played every game and - like Mathews - Roos clearly wants him in the team.
2. Bring Jack in to play on Aker... Aker is a triple premiership 200+ game player. I humbly suggest that Wizard Cup form where Aker was half fit and probably only half serious will not be in Roos' pre-game thinking this week.
3. Play Malceski in the midfield... the guy is probably leading the Swans best and fairest by playing off half back. There is no doubt he's an integral part of the team playing exactly where he is, even more so with Kennelly alongside him. Why disrupt that by moving him to the midfield??
I regard all the above as rational arguments so now let the irrational step forward...
