Does anyone think that Goodes will get reported for hitting Hird in the back similar to the incident against Godfrey a few of weeks ago?
Will Goodes get reported again?

There were worse incidents from the weekend and no action was taken on field, will be interesting to see what the MRP pull out of there collective arses.Premiers 09,18,33,05

I've just forced myself to sit through a replay and I don't think any of them will be in trouble.
Goodes just shoved Hird, the kind of thing you see 100 times in every game. Hird just made sure the umpire saw it by falling to his knees. Probably a (v soft) free but nothing more than that.
I was most worried about the O'Keefe one but he will be extremely stiff to get cited. It was late and a 50m call was the correct one but it was a glancing blow to Winderlich's head from the arm and he was clearly trying to spoil. No fist or hand involved at all from what I can see.
Similarly Bevan's looked like a clumsy act rather than anything else and I think contact was from the arm. It was more of a late coathanger than a strike per se.Comment

I think O'Keefe would have been cited if not for the 50m penalty.
Bevan should be reported - clumsy acts are still reportable. I hope he goes out for 400 weeks!
If Goodes keep doing that cowardly act he will get reported again - there's not much in it, but neither were there in Gehrig's little punches - and running into someone from behind off play is pathetic.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

goodes needs to get over whatever is bugging him. I would imagine coaches are instructing players to bait him, which obviously works. If i was coaching against him id have someone in his ear all night.Theres not much left to sayComment

Silly, but I would imagine it will be cleared
It was a very careless and clumsy tackle.
You'd think that because he was so embarrassed at the tribunal he'd watch his step. But it looked pretty poor on the TV.Comment

I was just wondering today about Mr Goodes and if he may have peaked as a footballer last season.
2 Brownlows, a premiership - gee what more does he need to do. He isn't one of the 3 leaders so maybe that has passed him by.
He talked about motivation etc last week. I dont think he has the mental strength to run with players week in week out. It may be seen to toughen him up but he is a free spirit so after 2 Brownlows and a premiership why does Roosey want to teach an old dog new tricks. Let him loose to play the way he has his whole career and where gives the most value to the team. Mind you he was far from our worst last night.Comment

I watched the game last night and I think Goodsey may be a little worried. The incident when he "lost the plot" and hit Hird (I think it was Sir James) in the back was not unlike his last report agains Godfrey.Also.if you believe Carro, she maintains the powers to be are taking a good look at Adam's behaviour.Comment
