Anyone who believes anything Caroline Wilson says is a @@@@wit. With the crap she comes out with on the channel 9 show on monday nights it makes me want to puke. She is the dumbest football writer I have ever seen, read or heard. She should take some lessons from Sam Lane, who (apart from when they are mucking around on before the game) always has something intelligent to say about the game, not some made up behind the scenes gossip.

She has a freaking awesome job "Chief football writer" for The Age, but has anyone ever read an article from her about a match? All she writes is, as you say, gossip, or stuff about 'off-field' dramas.

He went to ground a lot on Sat night - not what I expect from him at all.

I think this was the catalyst for the crowd unrest - less than a minute after Hall was pinged for standing his ground vs Michael, Hird received a(nother) kick for what seemed very incidental contact in a marking contest. The two decisions just seemed to be only reconciliable because of the respective players involved - I think it was from that moment that the crowd really got restless.

If Goodes keep doing that cowardly act he will get reported again - there's not much in it, but neither were there in Gehrig's little punches - and running into someone from behind off play is pathetic.

I agree with your comments ... except for hoping for Bevan to be missing a lot of footy. I thought, when we needed it, he was one of very few that actually looked like they wanted to win the game. Granted his skills were far from ideal, but he was hard at the ball and never flinched in a contest.

I'm usually among his loudest critics, but for once I'm happy to say well done Bevo!!
