    Round 11 V Hawks.

    Let's move on.

This week looms as a bigger challenge than in the past.

Last 6 meetings we've won 4-2, including the last 4.
    Swans 2-1 at the MCG.

    Code:
    2006	9	Sydney	19.5 (119)	vs	Hawthorn	7.12 (54)	MCG	WON	65
    2005	22	Sydney	20.9 (129)	vs	Hawthorn	11.9 (75)	MCG	WON	54
    2005	1	Sydney	18.10 (118)	vs	Hawthorn	8.7 (55)	SCG	WON	63
    2004	9	Sydney	11.14 (80)	vs	Hawthorn	12.7 (79)	SCG	WON	1
    2003	19	Sydney	14.9 (93)	vs	Hawthorn	17.8 (110)	SCG	Lost	-17
    2003	4	Sydney	10.8 (68)	vs	Hawthorn	17.8 (110)	MCG	Lost	-42
The margin has increased as the hawks have gotten worse.

However, that has changed this year, the Hawks are currently sitting 3rd, Williams is on the long term bench, but Buddy Franklin has stepped up, as have a number of "who" players.

Ben McGlynn I'd never heard of till he help spank the Eagles. Jordan Lewis, Grant Birchall, TIm Boyle and Brad Sewell are some other lesser lights who have all been in good form recently.

    Who will stop Buddy?
    Who will get Halls frees?
    Will they invoke the uberflood?

they got some good fwds the hawks

boyle is a athletic marking forward with a great kick, leo on him.

franklin has got pace, im going to throw up something different which wont happen...goodes has been playing average of late. put him in the backline to do a stopping job. very similar players these two.

buchanan on mcglynn, buchanan will be too damaging for mcglynn.

    sewell will play on kirk

hawks will flood. we should employ man on man tactics as our pressure will be too much for them. even if this means having an 8 man forward line.

Franklin will kick 10 if Goodes plays on him.
      C.Bolt to Franklin.

I'd consider bringing Grundy in to have another tall on the MCG to stretch their relatively short defence.

Good point about Grundy. Jolly and Everitt didn't seem to spend as much time up forward this week, as they did the week before.

              C. Bolton on Franklin. Hopefully experience wins over youth.

Give Adam Goodes some room to move.

Crawford is in good form, would Luke Ablett get him?

I hope Hodge doesnt go to Davis.

B2 to Franklin - no brainer.

If Sewell goes to Kirk, there will be a merry go round - Kirk will be trying to get to Mitchell.

Bolton on Crawford. They can nullify each other by admiring each other.

Kennelly on Boyle. Kennelly has been in really good defensive form this year as well as offense.

LOL! I was thinking along similar lines. Swans fans should hold up mirrors when Crawford has the ball as he will stop running and look over to the crowd to admire himself and BANG..PING...Holding the ball!

goodes should maybe have some time in the ruck this week.

I think we need to try and free barry hall up a bit or a least stop our forward line being him against three defenders.

Id start goodes at full forward with hall running around a bit more at chf davis up near goodes and maybe everitt lurking there.

I think if we get our forward set up right we can win this game
