Who cheered ? Who booed ?

Quiet in Aisle 105 last night.

Who cheered to encourage the boys when the game was on ?
    If anyone didn't - and that's about 50,000 people - why didn't they ?

    Who booed at h/t and 3qt ?
    If anyone didn't - and that's about 50,000 people - why didn't they ?

Because the crowd was in shock at the drivel being served up. I know I couldn't believe that a team could play so bad.

The only thing that would have made me happy last night is if the 64,000 fans there booed the team off after the game.

It left half way through last quarter. Not something I ever do. I was embarrased.

Listened to it on the radio.

The Bronx cheers that BBBH received were uncalled for. He's obviously going though a hard time...how about a bit of support.

It's getting to the stage where I'm ashamed to call myself a swans supporter, and it has nothing to do with the performance of the team.

          .
How about Barry get the hell out of the way, and give someone else a chance to f-up 10 sitter marks.

Hall has had a @@@@ load of support, but anyone who seriously thinks he is giving us anything back at the moment is not interested in winning football. All this crap about "how hard he works" is pointless if he's butchering goal opportunities, turning the ball over, and setting up goals for the opposition. In todays footy, a missed sitter inside 50 is almost a 12 point turnaround.

drop him. Make him earn his place.

It's all very well to say that sitting over there in Dublin. Many of us here spend a lot of time, money and effort supporting the Swans and we deserve better than last nights rubbish. I booed at 3/4 time. I left at about the 20 min mark last quarter, a rare thing for me to do. If they weren't gonna make the effort, neither was I.

That was our best patch ! Baz , you shouldve stayed to the end : then I would have booed them off in company :-)

I feel support for one's team is just the same as managing people at work : you give them all possible encouragement , but let them know when you are not happy with the performance.

I came up from Melbourne for the game and the biggest disappointment for me was the the amount of so called Swans supporters who left in the 3rd quarter. Me i don't care win, draw or lose i stick it out to the end, ok it was ugly and what a huge crowd it just leaves me totally numb to think what the future hold for the Swans. But then again I'll head down to Geelong next Saturday ever hopeful
                and always passionate.

I'm in 104 and it was VERY quiet. I tried a couple of times but in the end gave up and drank my red.

I also had to sit in the middle of the people on my nearest sides arguing.

I'm asking for a seat change.

I think it's terrible to boo any team, let alone your own.....

I also think it's pretty average that a supposed home game of 60k + can't get a bit of a chant up to try and lift the boys over the line....

But that's pretty hard to do when they give you nothing to cheer about. Three goals to 3/4 time. Seriously, they gave us nothing to get excited about.

I never boo the opposing team, so there is no way I would boo my own boys. It was horribly disappointing to see, but I agree that win, lose or draw you sit there until the end. All those people who got up and left at 3/4 time are'nt true Swans fans in my estimation. I have been following them since 1986, and have stuck with them through thick and thin. You can offer constructive criticism but please, dont ever boo them (even when they are playing crap)

As much as I'd like to, I don't think I have ever booed my own side. I don't think I've ever booed the opposition either, except for dirty players.

I think the side needed a lot more than a bit of cheering to get them going.

I don't see the big deal in leaving before the end of the game. It's a more effective way to show your displeasure than booing.

i booed the maggots a few times ... just for the hell of it.

other than that, too busy leaving the quarters a little early to line up at the bar!!

at least i had a screamer on saturday night ... poor swannies - they didn't look too happy in the surf on monday.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Its just not right to leave before the end of a game even if you are getting pumped, but NMW you do have a point it is an effective way to show you are peeved off.

And I've been following them for a lot less time than you and would also never leave until the final siren. The only time I could see an exception is when you have kids - sometimes I see parents completely overwhelmed by their kids' desire to head and that's fair enough.

Any other reason to leave early is a cop out. It just means you're only interested in the game if all is going well or there's a chance of a win. How would you fare then if your team is languishing at the bottom of the ladder for many seasons? Well, you're probably one of the very people that create those big gaping rows of empty seats at every game until the team finally starts to have a good season.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector
