Barry Hall being out is a massive loss BUT if we already had this game pencilled in as a loss then it is probably best he doesn't play and gets better for the rest of the year where we still have a chance of making the 8. Having said that remember the Port final in 2003 when we beat them at home when we were undermanned maybe just maybe we can pull one out of the hat again especially since Geelong have won 7 in a row, surely time for them to lose 1.

I beleive the current team deserves one more chance against Geelong to ensure an even level of performace with maybe the addition of LRT and Davis this week.

We should then aim to give three or four youngsters games against Fremantle & Carlton, with whoever performs well enough retained for the West Coast game.

So all up two changes this week.

      In: Davis & LRT
      Out: Grundy & Bevan

Baz has been my favorite player for yonks and in my office/games room there are a doz framed pictures were Baz is in most of them, however, I`m pretty excited to see what the team can do without Baz this week. I think give him 3weeks off, rest him well and bring him back to kick the West Coasters bums on July 21st at Subi.

                LRT to ruck!
                Jolly to the goal square.

I'm putting money on Leo taking a league record number of marks. The midfield cant kick to Hall, won't kick to Davo, so it'll be chip it around in the backline.

A poster on that other footy site often makes predictions, and he is usually pretty spot on.

                    Here is his latest:

                    Outs
                    Hall,Grundy, Schneider

                    Ins
                    Davis, Vogels

                    Other spot between
                    Laidlaw,Phillips,Thornton

But the twist there maybe two more changes so then all three would play but all that takes place tomorrow afternoon Im told

He mentioned other players that may miss 'could' be: Buchanan, Mcveigh, MOL.

                    Interesting indeed.

                      Oldman Pop?

He is usually on the money but i would be disappointed if Grundy got dropped.

Schneider aye? Apart from last week i thought he has been pretty serviceable, certainly not worthy of being on the chopping block.

Roos says that Hall could possibly be out for the rest of the year. How do you reckon top 8 is looking now? Shakier and shakier.

The Capital City Curse strikes again. Tredrea, Hall... look out Pavlich in 2008!

Anyway, shows the dumbness of playing players when obviously injured. The more I think about it, the more our amazing run with injuries looks like just plain dumb luck. Hope he is back soon.

                                in:
                                Davo, LRT, Doyle

                                Out:
                                Grundy, Hall, McVeigh

Jolls to the goal square. The guy take a very good contested mark, and while some of his kicks for goal have been a bit of an adventure, I think this would be an interesting match up for Geelong.
