Article: Barry Hall Fit to play.. but still can't do "things"..?

EDIT: Waaah! You cant edit title.. Woe is me of the typo should be "Can't". Oh well.

"Even that last quarter of the Collingwood game was probably his best, he kicked two goals. From purely a fitness point of view he's probably the fittest he's ever been.

"It's more what is his capacity to do different things on the football field.
Is it just me, or wasn't the whole point of giving Barry time off to get him back to do "things" on the field? Some confusing stuff here from Roos, but then thats nothing new.

More gobbledygook. His is probably this and probably that. How about saying what you mean Roosey instead banging on about nothing for the sake of it.

all of our group at the collingwood match agreed that barry looked (relatively) fat and soft. there is no way he is fit as he's ever been. groin problems not only prevent you from training but have the only treatment of not training.

i understand trying to cover for your players and your team and i've in the past defended roos' smokescreening but there is a point at which it just sounds like complete rubbish.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

One main "thing" he seems incapable of doing is taking marks up ground, once a feature of his game. The other main "things" are taking marks in the forward 50 and picking up spilled balls in the forward 50.
I was wrong about Gerard and his hair.

Well what in the hell is he doing in the side. What you have described is a Zero Player.

@@@@......... I`ve got the number 1 on the back of my Swannies jumper. If Baz leaves, who`ll pick up the mantle???
            Even Santa follows the Swannies.

He also seems incapable of running without getting tackled, kicking between the centre posts and disposing of the ball properly.

Yes, that just about covers everything.

But seriously, he's not even in the game - he doesn't have any stats with which to work out where his current strengths and weaknesses are.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector
