Pav will go back to Adelaide, where both the Crows and Port are interested in him. If Sooky La La was available, I'd say definately go for him. We'll need someone to replace Hall soon.

I'd love to see Reiwoldt at Sydney, but I reckon he'll stay at the Aints.

St Kilda has done a lot to develop our forward line over the last dozen tears or so. I so go for the sook. We mellowed Lockett and Hall, perhaps we should go the other way and see if we can toughen him up.

If Reiwoldt goes anywhere it will be back to the Lions in Queensland.

They literally have bucket loads of cash to spend this year with Voss and Lepa gone off the payroll this year and the last Scott to finish as well.

As for Pav, can't see him going anywhere else than the Crows who would offer anything from their list or picks to get a key forward.

While we need to replace both Hall & Mikey O soon, we are not really in a position to trade away high draft picks or our decent players (ala Goodes, O'Keefe, Kennelly or Malceski) this year for a key forward.

Maybe next year after we bring to the club another 3 or 4 youngsters.

If there was a reasonable deal on a trade for either of them then we'd have to do it.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Agree although I can't see either at the Swans. Pav will go to Adelaide and Nick I can't see leaving St Kilda.

As far as the Lions go, Lethal was quoted yesterday saying the Lions would be rebuilding from within and have no interest in outlaying the cash / deals required for a Reiwoldt or Fevola.

I am looking forward to the circus when Judd announces at the end of the year that he wants back to Melbourne.

I agree that that's the most likely place he'll go, but I don't know how you can categorically say that.

I doubt Ross Lyon would be fooled by any offers of players who are past their prime (B1?) or simply not good enough (Mathews?) as part of any exchange for Reiwoldt

I have heard a rumour than Jolly wants to come back to Melbourne (or at least Mrs Jolly does) so maybe StKilda's need for a ruckman could be an angle here

The rumour I heard was Jolly swapped with Fev...but could be applied to any possible exchange

So where would that leave Sydney's ruck stocks in 2009?

It would leave our ruck stocks very "un-jolly". It is only a rumour and I have no idea what his contract situation is.

Assuming the rumour is true...and assuming it eventuates...We would (could?) still have Doyle to back-up Spida and Daniel Currie etc as a developmental ruck in the Reserves...but I agree that we would be very thin for rucks if we had injuries...and Daniel Currie better be fast-tracked.

Guys like Goodes can ruck a bit, as can LRT.

Jesse White, Sam Rowe are also 196cm-ish and could ruck a bit if required and, more importantly, if good enough to make the seniors

Or we could look for an experienced ruck in the Draft?

                            But like I said...its a rumour

Its reported that Ricky Nixon has said Nick wont budge on his negotiations.. he's after about $750-$800,000 ... imo... He's not worth near that! far too inconsistant! I'd rather FEV!!!
