    I want to puke

    The Iceman has just kicked his first goal (in 300 days thanks Bruce) and he ran with his arms outstretched like the Messiah. The Messiah he aint, a serial poser he certainly is. Eeeeerrrrrrrrrrggghhhh.
    Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

      He's not the Messiah, he's just a very naughty boy.

          What really bugs me about him, is that he has not shown the slightest bit of remorse for his actions. He has never faced up to his problem (in public at least) and, forgive me if I'm wrong, isn't facing your demons the pathway to successful rehabilitation?

              I was there last night. He had the ball at one stage on the outer wng & the crowd booed. I swear he stopped deliberately to milk as much out of it as he possibly could.

                Sorry but;

                Remind me why he owes you an explanation ?

                or

                Why you think he has not faced 'his demons' ?

                or

                Why you think he has never shown remorse ?

                Seriously, the obsession with 'hating' everything WCE eagles related is sad and pathetic

                  Layby, I think the issue here is that Cousins is being treated a hero by the WCE fan's for "coming back" for being a drug user.

                  Jason McCartney for coming back from the Bali bombings and Adam Ramanaskus for coming back from cancer are AFL heros who should be applauded and remembered for years to come.

                  I accept that Cousins is back playing footy, but that does not mean I will applaud him for what he has done.

                    What a crock

                    I think you will find they are trying to encourage and support him.

                    Just as you would if he played for the Swans

                    All i see on here is pathetic 'i hate' 'it makes me puke' rubbish.

                    Where is all this supposedly christian/budhist/hindu/spaghetti monster spirit when it comes to WCE matters, hey ?

                        My view;

                        It is good to see a good footballer playing football again.

                        I am a football fan, what other view would i have ?

                          Fair enough view. It would just be good if you wrote that from the beginning rather than simply bringing everyone's elses view down before getting to it.

                              Not completely correct - Cousins is being treated a hero by the WCE fans for "coming back"!
                              No different how any fans of any side would treat a returning champion.
