Probably wouldn't have meant much especially against Richmond's forward line if he spent the majority of time down back.

I think Grundy at this stage worries about his man and doesn't do the things like dropping into the hole, taking marks (he is tall) and running off. Failed to take a couple of receives (the old butter fingers) but one was not a very good Handpass to him. At this point looks like a forward.

Liz was right about Brennan, he is a woeful kick, witness his 10 metre out shank. His field kicking appeared OK, has speed and clean hands and is a likely type.
