Did anyone have trouble getting to the game?

I live in the inner west and the trip normally takes 20-35 minutes but last night it took 2 hours!!! boy was i pissed. I got to the game just before half time. I totally forgot the sexpo was on.....Did anyone go after the game??

You're not the only one. Usually it takes me 40 mins from St George area to get into the city. Last night it took me 75 minutes and the same coming home. Spent more time in the car than at the damn game.

I travel in from the hills area, a run that normally takes 50 mins to an hour. I was 2hrs 10mins with 1hr 10mins of that on Cleverland St. I missed my beloved Matty Laidlaw in the ressies. Not happy Jan!!!!!

Yes, it took me about 1.5 hours to get to the game. I managed to get there just before ball up and I was a little cranky (well maybe a little more than a little), mainly because of people whizzing up the middle lane (of Dacey Ave) and indicating to pull into the left hand lane just before the lights. What did they think us folk in the LHL were doing?
BTW didn't go to sexpo although there were comments about my late arrival and my reason for being late.

after the game i went to fox with my friend for about an hour. the trip home took 20 mins!!!

Another reason to move all games to Homebush. It was traffic chaos all around Moore Park and the inner East last night. I noticed that the crowd at the game was still increasing during the 2nd quarter.

why don't they move then??? I think they would average about 45 thousand a game for the season if they did.

I also work right next to the stadium so i have free parking aswell!!!!!
