    Brennan - Game Over

Ive just finished watching the Dees game and I've got to say I'm particularly underwhelmed by Brennans's performance.
Team work: Not protecting other players
    Defence: Non existant
Attack: trying to take on the oposition, a la Kenelly, and getting tackled every time
    Kicking: missing targets
    Hand passes: To who?

With plenty of better players knocking on the door, was this his last game for the season - or am I being too harsh?

Agree, Brennan did not look up to standard today.
You can add Teddy to that as well.

How many minutes did Brennan spend on the ground?

Every time you could see our interchange bench on camera, he was there.

I watched the game trying to pick our Brennan, but there wasnt a lot to see.

I dont like his chances. LRT or Leo Barry will come in for him next week I'd say.

Lol Jeffers, tell us what you really think.

I guess they had to try him out but I think Laidlaw could offer more in a similar role

                              Or an optimist could say
Team work: Unless you saw one instance where he didn't help out then I think you may be clutching at straws with team work- "doing the little things" seems to be one of his strengths. I noticed him seem to clear a path for teammates a couple of times.
Defence: Short of Davey's goal (but I thought Malceski was on Davey then?) I didn't see anything awful with his defence. He looked to get up and get a fist to the ball a couple of times when the Demons went forward.
Attack: trying to take on the oposition, a la Kenelly, and getting tackled... but keeping his arms free enough to get out effective disposals each time, which we don't see from quite a few of our guys,
Kicking: He kicked the ball once, after receiving the ball on half back with Davey on his tail. Davey got to him enough to put his kick off, the kick was poor but better than a couple of others that were done under Davey's pressure.
Hand passes: His hands looked pretty good out there, not sure what you mean. He set up Jolly's first goal with an effective handball.

That said, I didn't think he was great out there
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
